From the artist,
"Full Circle is a vertical composition designed to operate on multiple levels.
Formally, it features a gradated progression of elliptical shapes that move sequentially from a small, narrow ellipse at the bottom to a fully rounded circle at the top. Color and patterned cutouts flow through each element, creating a visual continuity that unifies the work.
Symbolically, it reflects the linear evolution of a single entity—from a slender, embryonic form to a fully developed shape, not unlike the growth of a living cell.
In the context of a college campus, it functions as a visual metaphor for education. The narrow form at the base represents a young mind entering an academic community. With each phase, it expands as it encounters new ideas, disciplines, and perspectives. The intersecting arcs of color on both sides symbolize profound philosophies and schools of thought that influence and enrich all members of the campus community. The uppermost circle represents a fully developed mind—now a “full circle”—equipped with a broader, well-grounded perspective and prepared to ascend toward a new future."
