Shallow plate with base. Yellowish clay. The tondo decorated in brownish black varnish with a woman's profile in reverse, framed by spiral waves. Genucilia Group, probably made at Falerii Venteres (Faliscan). Named after an inscription on one such plate of a Latin or Faliscan lady, Poplia Genucilie. Most frequently dedicated at sanctuaries. Late classical Etruscan, central Italy.
