This nicely carved object is a diviner or shaman's tool. It would be used to point to the site of the ache or distress of the client to identify that spot and perhaps draw out the pain. There is a pyramidal shape on the top with snake decorations; 3 heads surrounding it with animals on top of them below; a round decorated dowel under with a larger pyramidal shape at the bottom with intertwined snakes carved on the sides.
