Dense design of palmettes on neck and beneath handles (cf. J.D. Beazley, Etruscan Vase Painting, 1947, p. 150, no.3, Vienna 449).
Obverse: A winged Eros (or Etruscan god Turnu, the equivalent of the Greek god Eros) stands, holding a staff.
Reverse: A nude Lasa bends toward a swan. The swan is associated with the Etruscan goddess of love, fertility and vitality, Turan. The goddess Turan is equivalent to the Greek Aphrodite. Lasas were servants or attendants of the goddess Turan. Hellenistic, northern Etruria (Chiusi or more likely Orvieto).
