A Jokwe wood "mwana pwo" mask, the pierced mouth with carved teeth, narrow slits to the elliptical eyes, raised scarification to the cheeks, temples, forehead and chin, an upholstery nail inserted into each cheek and the top of the forehead, woven fiber headgear.
