Hats! Riding along in the passenger’s seat of my Aunt’s convertible with the top down in an adorable town on a warm spring day, we were stopped at a red light. At quick glance, a café on the corner had their large wall-sized glass doors open for customers to enjoy the beautiful day but what really caught my eye was not one but two women wearing hats. It sounds silly, but I love hats! I think they are just so wonderful and bring my mind to a time when, as a society, we dressed for the occasion and going to lunch was a proper occasion. This is my small tribute to women in hats (particularly because I do not have the courage to wear them!)
