New Beginnings

Born in Alberta , raised in Sask.

I have been doing art as long as I can remember . My father was an artist by profession and I learned from him as I grew up, leaning toward sculpture early in my life. My medium was anything and everything that would hold a shape. Went into bronze later in life when I could afford the process and never turned back . There is something very comforting in moving around warm clay .
My much earlier art career took me to the World’s Ward foundation in Ocean City ,Maryland where many of my wildlife bird sculptures were recognized and won awards. Commission work seemed to start from there and by word of mouth. I then began teaching workshops and attending many art shows across Canada and in the U.S.
Presently ,I have kept busy with farm life and enjoying the numerous commission work from the Pense foundry.
