A bold tree stands watch at the water’s edge. This painting was inspired by a trip to Narrow Hills Provincial Park. I completed a small plein air sketch in this location and used it as reference for this larger piece. Reflections shimmer softly on the still surface of the lake, capturing a fleeting moment of calm in the early morning light. This oil painting is framed in a contemporary black floater frame.
