Contemporary abstract.
I love exploring the local beaches of south eastern Prince Edward Island (Epekwitk) at low tide. I take a meandering path between cliff and seaweed, and clamber over large rocks. I stop often to crouch and sweep my fingers through the pebbles to look for seaglass or weirder washed-up artifacts, and to check shells for inhabitants (if occupied, I put them in the water), detouring widely around stranded jellyfish, watching the gulls and bank swallows and herons.
