Like a Sunburst amid the green
Long, necked daisy steals the scene.
Delicate white, belies her strength.
Blooms a top her rod straight length
Throughout the summer blooming bright.
Cut her and she still delights
Roots grow deep in seasons of rest
Following seasons of blooms attest
Coming again year after year
Ready to make a smile appear
Her bright little face so full of cheer
A little eraser for every tear.
