Message
Reflecting on my own part in consumerism, I taught myself the traditional process of making paper by hand in my eagerness to adopt more sustainable practices. The collection gives new life to junk mail, homework, and paper scraps by immortalizing them in works of art. The handmade paper not only adds visual complexity to the collection, but also encourages individuals to reflect on their own consumption and motivates efforts to reduce waste.
