This tulip painting titled "In the Garden with Friends" was inspired by just that. A group of fiber artists joined together to visit Filoli Gardens. One of our number is a volunteer in the gardens and she was encouraging us to see all of the lovely tulips in bloom. It was my first time there and it was so gorgeous... and so fun to be wandering around with lovely companionship as well. It's also a lovely example of women supporting women.
