Fall update

October is a busy month!

With summer coming to an end, I find myself in the zone and ready for fall weather and my fall exhibits. Fall is the perfect time for Art Events. I've spent most of my summer preparing for the fall exhibits. Fall weather excites me in that I know I will be sharing my newest paintings, talking about my work, and getting close to a time where I can slow down a little. But first, I gotta get through the next 3 exhibits.

If you've been to my Events page, you'll see all the details for my up coming exhibits. First is a group show with "Four Artist TN" at Blue Fig Gallery, during the Nashville Art crawl. I'm really looking forward to see how our work looks in the same space again. We have all created new work, but haven't actually shown it together yet. I know my work has evolved a lot over the last year or so and I imagine Susan, Emily, and Mike's have too. Please come join us and see how the four of us vary in process and subjects, but the connecting thread is our view of art to ground experiences and share a sense of belonging.

A couple of weeks after Four Artist TN show is Artclectic, at the University School of Nashville. This is another amazing event. A group show of over 50 artist from all over the United States. This will be my 4th year and I look forward to each one. Several of the artist have attended for years and there are a lot of others that will be there e for the first time. Either way, the artist invited to this event are always of great quality and I'm honored to be one.

For November, I'll be in another Four Artist TN show in the Nations area of Nashville. This will be a more low key event/ pop up gallery at a private residency. If you are interested in coming to this event. Please send me an email and I can put you on the list. The date of the reception is Nov. 16th at 5:00pm and we will offer private viewings by appointment earlier that day and the day after the reception.

I know I'm forgetting something, so I'm sure I'll be back for more updates soon. Thank you for following my journey and commenting on my social media post. I love what I do and I love that I have friends like you that give me encouragement. I hope to see you at one of the exhibits. See you then!!
