Happy Thanksgiving!

Blog update:)

Happy Thanksgiving!

I don't know about you but I'm ready for a little down time. Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful to be busy, just ready for a break. I've also been a little ill this past week, and I've spent several days being unproductive. Nothing serious, just a bad case of sinus problems that won't go away. And, since Thanksgiving is upon us, a lot of things on my "to do list" will be put off until next week. Well, I guess posting on my blog was on the list, so I did get one thing done:)

I'd like to first thank everyone that made it out to the Four Artist show. It was a big success. We had never tried a pop up type show before, so didn't know exactly what to expect. We ended up having a steady flow of people come through the whole night. Great conversations about the work, drinks, food. Good times! Stay tuned, we may do this again in the near future.

I'm steadily working away on my last few commission pieces. I'm still confident I'll have plenty of time to have the Gift pieces done in time for Christmas, although, I'll have to be diligent after Thanksgiving . I'm so thankful for all of you that trust me in creating a special piece of art specifically for you or your loved ones. Here soon I'll add another page that shows the commission pieces I've done. I was looking back recently and can't believe how many I've done over the last few years. If you have interest in having a

The Franklin Art Crawl is coming up on Friday, Dec. 6th. We're still working out the details, but I'm now on the Art crawl Committee and we are excited to start some more interactive elements for those that want to learn more about the artist and their creations. December will be our first try at one of those ideas. Follow my IG and FB accounts to get most recent updates.

Also, as a board member for Number Inc. magazine, I'm working on doing some studio visits in the Nashville area. I'm still working out what these visits will be, but for now I'm just taking time to talk with each artist, see their space, and take a few photos to share on social media. If your interested in the artist of the south, go follow Number Inc. You can find out more about the publication, read the latest articles, submit ideas for writing, become a sponsor/ advertiser/ supporter, and find links to follow us on social media. If you have any questions or comments about Number, or my studio visits, please feel free to email me.

One last thing. I'm still working out how I will handle an email update for those interested. If you are interested in receiving a monthly email from me, which will include what's in my blog, updates on exhibitions, and first look at my latest work, please sign up soon. I am planning to release prints of some of my paintings and as an incentive for those on my email list, I'll have something special. More about this coming soon!

I'll end with wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving and hope you get to spend it with people you love. Eat, drink, bee merry!

Sincerely,

RLP
