“Being underwater in a space teeming with fish is a mesmerizing experience. I’ve been fortunate to dive in incredible locations, each reminding me of the vivid colors and intricate shapes that fill these environments. It parallels my own thoughts—constantly moving, layered, and dynamic—yet, in the midst of all that activity, I find a sense of calm. There’s so much to take in, but by focusing on one detail at a time, I can truly absorb it. This mirrors how I approach my painting—immersing myself in complexity while allowing each piece to unfold with intention.”
