Randy's work is the result of a unique encaustic process where he transfers ink from magazines onto a thin layer of beeswax.
Message
This was a piece I did to experiment with leaving some of the paper and revealing some of the ink. It kind of shows the process of my other works, but in a subtle way.
Because it has paper exposed I decided to frame it with glass to protect the paper, even though it does have a sealer on it.
