Back on Halloween of 2014 I was walking my Chow/Lab down my road. It was dusk and there were these two enormous orange clouds filling up the eastern sky over the Catalina mountains here in Tucson. I had never seen anything remotely like it before. I ran us back to the house, grabbed my phone and got the pic I used to paint this. Of course, I couldn't let it be, so I went and ruined it and I was so irked with myself that I placed it in the I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU FOR AWHILE, pile and finally came back to it this year. And I like it!
