Cliff Benson from SeaTrust brought in this beautiful young Buzzard, picked up on the side of the road near Goodwick. 'Goodie' came to stay for a few weeks at the Hawk Hotel second chance saloon! We were very worried about him at first he really was on his last legs or wings, his eyes were closing and he slept an slept the first couple of days inside in the warm. Out in the aviary though he rapidly regained condition feeding up on chicks, quail and duck! Quickly he regained his wildness and we could attempt his release to the wild at Rookwood, Llanunwas where we could monitor him and feed him at hack.
