A Bearded Vulture against the magnificent backdrop of Champagne Castle with some snow on the mountains. We filmed them at this location near the Thumb at Giant's Castle for the BBC Life of Birds series (Produced by Fergus Beeley) and the two weeks on the mountain gave me a fantastic insight to these extraordinary creatures, one of the most endangered birds in Africa.
