Premier Photo Walk: Through the Wilderness

Abdulhussain Ezzi is a Nairobi-based wildlife photographer whose earthy style reveals natural tones, vast perspectives, and fine details to reveal the true beauty of nature. His journey began in 2016 with a simple point-and-shoot camera when he photographed Sudan, the last male northern white rhino. That moment shaped his mission to tell the stories of the wild through his lens.

Through his work, Abdulhussain seeks to showcase the beauty of Kenya, where wildlife and landscapes exist in forms found second to none. He feels deeply privileged to live so close to nature in Kenya. He strives to immerse viewers in the moments he captures and to evoke the same emotions he feels behind the camera. More than documentation, his vision is to inspire people to pause, visit, and admire nature as a whole, reminding us of what we stand to lose and why it must be protected.
