“Noorun Ala Noor,” meaning “Light upon Light,” delves into the essence of divine illumination and cosmic spirituality. This exhibition, the first of its kind in Mumbai, showcases over 50 works inspired by Middle Eastern sacred geometric designs, which have influenced traditional Indian art and architecture over centuries. Through diverse mediums, including calligraphy, traditional illumination paintings, sacred geometry, and multimedia installations, thirteen international artists explore the intricate interplay between light, spirituality, and geometry. These artworks create a space for contemplation, cultural exchange, and intellectual discourse, bridging traditional artistry with contemporary expression. Rooted in cosmic principles, geometric patterns in traditional art symbolize divine order and infinity, transforming physical spaces into realms of spiritual reflection.
