The artwork entitled "The Symbol of Eternity" is inspired by the Raudat Tahera mausoleum, which features engravings of the entire Quran in gold. The architectural features of this grand Qubba Mubaraka reflect the historic era of al-Dai al-Ajal Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA and showcase the unique elements of Fatemi art and architecture.
The circle, known as "مدورة" in Fatemi art, is seen as a symbol of unity and infinity. This symbol is prominent in the center of Raudat Tahera, and represents the artist's faith and love for their Maula who finds solace within its walls, with Maula as the centre point in their life.
The symbol captured in this painting is originally from al-Jame al-Juyushi, Cairo. The abstract background with blue hues evokes a sense of the impenetrable depths of the universe and eternity, which are often associated with this colour. Fatemi art, depicted in gold, is a symbol of divinity, grandeur, and enlightenment. The use of both warm and cool colours together, symbolizes the nature of the Almighty.
The artist is self-taught and has a particular interest in painting historical and rare designs with intricate details. The reference of the مدورة is from the book "قبة يمن روضة طاهرة".
