A symbiotic relationship is one where two species benefit from each other. In this case the ox-peckers feeds on the ticks off the giraffe and the giraffe gets a free grooming. However this particular situation caught my eye because I noticed the ox-pecker chirping to the giraffe more than usual. It almost felt as if they both knew other and the ox-pecker was telling off the giraffe like, "Hey, I'm not done yet, stop moving!". I am glad I could capture exactly that story in this photograph.
