The transition of the city is quite often perplexing, how construction and deconstruction is something the residents grapple with, the constant clangour and colour of Mumbai is that like no other. My introduction to Bhendi Bazaar was something similar but amongst the systematic chaos, there was a sense of community, an anchor that was holding the social fabric ever so delicately together – Ishq.
