The wildebeest river crossing is one great spectacle on Earth that leaves you with so many unanswered questions. One moment you hear thousands of hooves stomping the ground with sands blowing all over and the next there is total silence as they stare at the water in contemplation. They could be half way in to the river and yet turn back. To us it's contemplation but to them it's purely instinct.
