In life's passing moments, we are travelers seeking temporary shelter beneath the shade of a tree, as the Hadith reminds us of this world's brief nature.
My artworks – a series of miniature paintings, crafted with precious handmade pigments including 24 carat shell gold, 22 carat moon gold, lapis lazuli, cochineal, and malachite, offer glimpses of eternal paradise.
Drawing inspiration from the Quranic Charbagh gardens and descriptions of heaven's trees—olives, figs, pomegranates, bananas, grapes, and date palms—these artworks invite viewers into a mystical realm where earthly and spiritual worlds converge. Inspired by the patterns of 7th-century Kashan tiles, each fruit tree is encased within eight-pointed stars, symbolizing divine perfection. Traditional illumination techniques channel the divine light of Ayat al-Noor, capturing the journey from the temporal to the eternal.
