In my artist books I regularly use collage elements: cutouts from colored cardboard, or parts of linocuts or intaglio prints, but also strips of texts printed in letterpress and sometimes drawings and paintings on paper. It allows for experimenting with combinations of different textures and superpositions. Collage is also a necessity when designing my pop-up books, being part of the architectural three dimensional structure.
