I apply acrylics, writing inks, and drawing materials to cardboard scraps, collaged with drawings and relief prints. As I work, I tear and reassemble the compositions with wheat paste, small nails, and wooden dowels. I combine traditionally accepted artmaking materials with non-archival mediums, found materials, and objects typically considered trash to introduce a critical conversation about value in works considering unspoken rules around differing bodies, minds, and behaviors.
