My imagery is inspired by my travels, nature and social issues. Following a trip to Peru, I had many colorful and unusual photos. I used these photos in my monotypes to make a series of chine collage artworks. “Homespun” is one of that series. I entitled it “Homespun” to accentuate the figures, who are dressed in and selling homespun shawls and wearing felt hats that are typical native dress of the Andes in Peru.
