  • Artist: Pierre Le Faguays (French, 1892-1962)

Pierre Le Faguays, who also used the pseudonyms Fayral and Guebre, was a French sculptor and art deco artist. He was born in Nantes and studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He is best known for his bronze sculptures, which often depicted female figures in elegant poses. His work is characterized by its attention to detail and his ability to capture the grace and beauty of the human form. Le Faguays' sculptures were widely exhibited during his lifetime and are now held in collections around the world. He also designed and executed numerous public commissions, including fountains, statues, and reliefs.
