The Western Pennsylvania Tuskegee Airmen is a memorial and cultural display that commemorates the Tuskegee Airmen who fought in WWII. The display, which is a space located within a large cavity in the wall, utilizes text and photos to honor the Tuskegee Airmen.
This work consists of photographs, text, images, plaques, a flag, a tv/video, and benches. This work is interactive and experiential and provides a sobering environment for passengers to learn about the history of the Tuskegee Airmen in this area. The primary color palette of this room is dark grays and black.
