“Slippy Slope” is an honest celebration of escapism, personal growth, and this beautiful rock we call home.
“Slippy Slope” is an ode to the lush and plentiful park system in and around Pittsburgh. It is an ode to our industrious past, and to our ability to adapt and continually evolve. The composition is inspired by McConnells Mill and the Slippery Rock Gorge, offering waterfalls, luscious greenery, and massive glacial boulders. Through this soft palette I wanted to highlight the organic features while creating a welcoming, accessible space- 93% of Pittsburgh residents live within a short walk of a park, which is a unique joy of life here.
