This artwork merges the 1992 airport plan as the base with the new 2025 construction overlayed on top. The artist worked with the crew in charge of maintaining the airport, who know every inch of the site. An evening skyline view of Pittsburgh is presented across the bottom as a reference to how proud airport staff are of their town and how the airport is the first impression for visitors to the region.
