At sunset, nature paints the sky with vivid colors. Pink, purple, orange, yellow and blue come together in new compositions and harmonies. One need only look up at the sky to discover a new painting. “Pennsylvania Sunsets” is a series of cloudscapes painted in oil on panels, dedicated to the traveler.

Sonja Sweterlitsch graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in Art
and a BA in Creative Writing. She has taught studio art classes at the Smithsonian
Institute, the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, and the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust’s
Education Center. She exhibits her work locally in Pittsburgh, PA.
