A creation series of patriotic art of visual tribute. The depiction of images of the men and women of courage, living with the nightmares of wars past and present. The art captures two worlds, one scene of a typical park in any city in the USA. The park scenes offer images of festive activities where citizens enjoy the freedom of living in a carefree atmosphere.
The bottom portion of the painting provides a reality of those who paid the ultimate price for the freedom we enjoy. The images and symbols of past wars to the present, the gas-masked warriors of WWI, to the pictures of the burning oil fields, of the desert storm, the two medics applying emergency care while under fire, Vietnam images of the memorial, the dogs tags worn, while an older man, as his shadow cast the appearance of a soldier in battle.
