Reaching Out by Phyllis Bryce Ely Image: I saw this tree along the shoreline tree at the Genesee Land Trust's Cornwall Preserve, on Lake Ontario. This is one of several paintings I created for invitational exhibit "The Unbuilt" (2019) celebrating preserved properties in our region. This tree cantilevered out over the eroded shoreline with a lot of hope and confidence. It was my goal to capture that.
