I just liked the colour combination of these squash, the soft violet of the vase and the bold red of the chilli. My buying choices when shopping for fruit and veges is more driven by colour and texture than hunger, and only get eaten if I can paint fast enough. I tend to paint slow so my compost heap benefits from my choices..
