The inspiration for this second piece in the series is a blend of reality, memory, contemplation, and longing. My frequent walks through forests and mountains deepen my connection to nature, which, in turn, fuels much of my work. I never sketch beforehand—I trust the moment, allowing the painting to unfold naturally as I stand before the canvas. Though spring is not there yet, one can feel it coming : the light changes, the small is coming back, some small blossoms here and there.
