The title of this work seems to suggest a contradiction: how can confusion at the same time be cozy? In my view, it is not a contradiction at all. A state of mild confusion can also be pleasant—it unsettles and stirs us, making it possible to shift perspective. One can settle into this gentle confusion, experience it as an enduring state, and even feel at home within it. It is a condition in which nothing becomes habitual, but everything can be experienced as new again and again.
