The False Vacuum paintings were created in Peter's Oasis studio in Beijing, China. Lewis’s engagement with physics extends beyond string theory to other complex concepts. The “False Vacuum” series, for instance, references quantum field theory and the hypothetical state of vacuum that may have triggered the Big Bang. In these works, Lewis grapples with the ordered chaos that engulfs us, creating visual representations of the unseen forces that shape our universe.
