Saul Yuselew(d) passed away in Zuni Pueblo in 2009. He was dearly loved, as were his carvings. In the later years of his life, Saul became almost blind and his pieces no longer had eyes. His work always had very little detail, and lots of character. Saul was a traditional healer in Zuni, known as a "presser". For this reason, many people carry his animals with them.
