I said last week I don't usually do the human figure in my paintings. Last week it was PEOPLE on horseback. This week we have PEOPLE front and centre ... "The Hunters"... and that's not to mention the faithful retriever dog as well!

Also the mountains are so much closer and more in your face than my usual more distant mountains.
This is the Eastern Cape.
Slightly different landscape to the 'Bonney norm' which is more usually the flatter Central / Great Karoo with its more distant mountains and remote farmsteads. But ... as the age old saying goes... "A change is as good as a holiday.
