This is one of a series that incorporate orb-like shapes into gestural abstractions based on the observation of nature in my surroundings. In this piece I was inspired to emphasize the glowing, late-afternoon light peeking through trees and reflected that glow onto the orbs, giving the work a delightful floating quality.
