Valka and her sisters keep themselves apart for very good reason - their habit of wandering alone through the trees, through the waves, seeking both physical and spiritual sustenance,would leave them at the mercy of unscrupulous folk were it to be widely known.

Valka stands 20" (50cm) tall from the tips of her toes to the top of her Marie Antoinette-inspired hair. She is entirely hand sewn, using recycled linen damask, vintage lace & silk, plus repurposed rhinestone jewellery. Her hair is locally-sourced Teeswater wool and she is stuffed with merino wool waste, ensuring that she leaves as light an environmental footprint as possible.
