Following the devastating earthquake of 2010, the artists began making quilts showing what they had experienced as a means to process the trauma of that life-changing event. In this quilt by artist Beliana Maxime, she shows the destruction and human toll that had taken place all around her. Buildings are damaged and injured people crying out for help.
