This concept has always been fascinating to me. I remember when I was studying psychology, a teacher would describe it as that space in between when you just leave the theatre after watching a movie and you are half in the movie and half in the external world.
Transitional space in psychotherapy, spiritual practices and the arts are very related as they connect both the internal and external world, letting creativity to emerge.
