This piece was inspired by a trip to Corsica. The landscape, with its geometrical cliffs and mountains, in addition to the ochre colors of the land and blues of the Mediterranean represent a memory of serene calmness and joy. The textures and layers of painting were created by adding and removing elements, leaving a history of the process of art making.
