"La Veneziana" is an abstract figurative piece inspired by the artist's trip to Venice in 2019 - the colors invoke the rains of the area, particularly the difficult Acqu'Alta from that year that caused so much damage to the city. The figure (in orange galoshes) nevertheless continues on, evoking the unflappable character of the Venetians in the face of the elements.
