When I did this piece, I had recently seen a wonderful exhibit of Australian Aborigine art at the Tate Modern in London. At that show I learned that many of the pieces that I liked were a representation of the land looking down from the sky.

Using this concept I completed Australian Idyll using a combination of acrylic paints and inks on panel.
