When my grandson was just a toddler he was always fascinated by the bark of the trees and the bumble bees. We regularly go for walks along the seawall in Vancouver where there are beautiful little clusters of flowers, he and will sit and talk about the flowers, about the bees and that they are making honey for our tea :)
